Really happy to share something I whipped up today to pay tribute to Svelte Summits from 2020 to 2025 organized by @sveltesociety.dev 😃 svsummit26.semaphores.dev I put together some notable social media posts and the YouTube talks from each summit, so you can peek at the highlights from one place.

While Opus 5 still passes the vibe check for me in coding, it does have a lot of annoying behaviors that 4.8 didn't have - it writes way too many comments, over complicates things more, and the technobabble jargon got even worse. Hope 5.1 tackles this. #ai #anthropic

🙋 What are your most used Svelte packages that you often use or can't live without? Asking because I want to start making integration demos for Mochi Framework for Svelte (We already have demos for mdsvex and Tailwind!). #svelte #javascript

👀 Very interesting article about how fancy JavaScript-driven websites can be straight up dangerous in an emergency situation, as they stop working. Even in our modern day, a light, progressively enhanced website is the best user experience. sparkbox.com/foundry/hele...

During Helene, I Just Wanted a Plain Text Website

OpenCode caches its plugins, which means if you use `@sveltejs/opencode` without pinning a version, you might be using an old version of it. We just released a new version that automatically cleans up when it detects a new version... clean your cache and restart OpenCode to get the latest version

👀 In the next version of Mochi for Svelte, there will be first-class support for sending emails, with Svelte email templating and debug bar integration for previewing emails in dev. Check out the current version at mochi.fast and join the Discord to get the latest news! #svelte

The US Supreme Court just ruled that the FTC isn't independent anymore and this was the basis for the entire EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Unfortunately we can't trust 🇺🇸 with our data, and that's why it's so important to build both self-hosted and regional alternatives. #eu noyb.eu/en/us-suprem...
