There are people starving all over the globe. And yet *this* is what we do with the pumpkins that don't get bought - or eaten - in Canada? Anyone out there able to think of a way to get our pumpkins to those people? I know Canadians would help pay for their transport... just ask us.

VOTING DAY CROSS-OVER Interesting that advance polling days for the Provincial election can also fall on a (final) day to vote in a municipal/city election. That means a voter can go directly from one election poll to the other on same day. Check locations, however.... they look to be different.

"Step back and look at what the United States has lost, or is in the process of losing, in a year and a half of treating Canada as an adversary rather than an ally." "Your neighbour has changed. The bill is coming. And America is going to pay it whether it was watching or not." #uspoli #cdnpoli

#CanPoli Have you considered the priorities that PM Carney has had to juggle? Canada's economy is being torn apart by a very big neighbour; families are struggling to survive month to month. Yes, our environment has been moved down the priorities list, but ask families what they worry about most.

PARENTS responsible for killer kids? I think every parent whose kid commits a major crime should be put under full scrutiny. This US case should set a precedent for the way Canada handles such cases:

Naheed Nenshi is a good man and a good leader. Only issue with him becoming Premier of Alberta would be his inability to let go of the oil industry as the province's lifeline. Sooner or later that province is going to have to face reality. .. & that reality is that environment trumps oil profits.

Bank of Canada has faith in our PM. . . Otherwise, this would have been an automatic rise in central bank rate. Carney has paved the roads to better trade numbers. And it looks like the BofC will give him time to use those roads.

Major alert to anyone with contracts with any Canadian telecommunications companies... Rogers, Bell, Telus... and others... NO MORE cancellations fees. AI says it applies to both current and new contracts. I would check with CRTC or CCTS to make sure the lack of fees apply to current contracts.
