Ukraine continued their attacks on Russian energy targets in Samara, Ukhta, and Novoshakhtinsk. Ukraine has now struck three Yandex data centers in Sasovo, Kaluga, and Vladimir leading to internet outages. Trump has lifted sanctions on Russia and announced America will be buying Russian diesel fuel.

The United States is the world's largest exporter of diesel. There is no shortage of diesel in The US since Trump continues to allow its export. There is only the global price/market place. Trump buying Russian diesel does not increase supply and it will not make anything cheaper for anyone.

This is a very important graph! Save it and show it to anyone who claims that Ukraine is responsible for higher diesel prices. Ukrainian attacks on russian oil refineries started in November 2025 and they had no impact on the price. The price skyrocketed right after Trump started the war in Iran.
Apparently Trump’s “energy ceasefire” applies only to strikes on oil refineries, not to all energy infrastructure. So you understand, russia has already destroyed all Ukrainian oil refineries. So, this is basically a one way ultimatum. What a clown show.
Russia is experiencing a diesel shortage. Farmers' crops in Russia are rotting in the fields because diesel costs 4x more than last year if they can even find it. Now ask yourself the question why would Vladimir Putin screw over his own farmers to send diesel to help Americans?
Russia is still refusing to agree to Ukraine's offer of an energy ceasefire. So Ukraine continues to work on destroying all of Russia's oil refineries.
