Haven’t read the book; haven’t seen the movie. Going in blind. Brought water just in case. My good friend @maryfernando.bsky.social, an elephant lover, would be proud.
I often read 6-10 books at a time and when one gets a little slow I’ll switch only to return later. I have never given up on a book but sometimes have to start over. This was one of but I do like it. Anyone else do this??
Can folks watching their kids play sports please stop taking your anger out on the officials coaching/refereeing them on the courts or field. They are often kids themselves doing their best and you look like a ridiculous bully and fool. It will never not be a red card for you.

I’ll weigh in because this is my lane. I’ve treated severe depression and suicidal ideation and never lost a patient - *most* can be treated but aren’t because we don’t invest in resources to help them. Not investing in mental health but offering a comfortable death isn’t a good look. #MAID

All kids are “rough around the edges”. A parent’s job is not to smoothe these out but to give them the tools, supportive confidence and independence to do this themselves.

For the record, in 5 years we have not seen one single case of hearing loss in vaccinated kids.
Can someone explain to me why we don’t vaccinate against Hepatitis A in Ontario like I’m a first year med student?

Most of us understand the science and the contents of the #vaccines and how herd immunity works, so we get frustrated at all the disinformation from people in gov who will dictate how we may care for patients.
So yes. Santa calls every pediatrician to ask who has been good over the year for those who celebrate. He’s not so high tech but he gets the job done every single year. 🥰

Influenza A sweeping thru Ontario now. Classrooms are emptying. Consider vaccinating your children. This little one was too young to be vaccinated.
I am a pediatric ICU physician. I am filled with dread knowing viruses and bacteria will provide the education to families who don't vaccinate their children. And the cost will be dear.
