#Ottawa 's wastewater surveillance site is back online, warning us that funding is gone in 2027, & asking for donations to keep it going. Premier Dorg killed funding for most testing sites in 2024 (because he's far beyond stupid). 613covid.ca/wastewater/

People with high needs are often called "frequent flyers," "hard to reach" or "hard to house." Andrew Boozary is reaching them. And housing them.

Why heart attacks in women are often missed in Canadian emergency rooms
For years, the way doctors diagnose heart attacks has largely relied on research and testing standards developed using data that came mostly from men.

More on US food safety: Three (red) states have passed legislation to limit lawsuits against companies for failure to warn about health risks. Another six (red) states are proposing similar bills. See the problem? We need to take steps to protect Canadians from pesticide-friendly red state exports.
The buck stops at Queen's Park. Hospitals run a $70 million debt while Doug Ford spends $48 million ripping out bike lanes. We live in the stupidest timeline.
Hey Ontarians, Covid is in the ascent so if you qualify for priority vaccination, now's the time.

When I hear about the Cornell 7, I had just had an experience at the playground with my daughter. It serves to remind us of the patriarchal structures that allowed such an apparently disgusting rape and complicity to have occurred.

Convoy terrorists were permitted to shut down Ottawa with impunity for weeks. But this? Not cool, Carney. Not cool.
Not a good look: arresting seniors calling on Mark Carney to not walk back our climate obligations. In my last 2 years as MP I ran a gauntlet of threat, swarming and harassment everyday from conspiracy ragers. House security and Ottawa police just watched. Seems instructions have been issued.
Carney is taking advantage of the fear and loathing Canadians feel towards Trump to justify remaking the country in a way that primarily benefits business interests, not the rest of us. #canpoli buff.ly/yuePlg0

The US already got a do over. A mulligan. A second chance. Much of the world, especially US allies, were ready to write off Trump’s first term as a fluke. The American people’s choice to put him back in power—as a convicted felon, after an openly bigoted, anti-democracy campaign—showed it was not.
This is the part many Americans -- including the Bezosites at the Washington Post -- don't understand. Canadians don't see this just as a Trump thing. It's that America elected him twice, and the second time with an even bigger mandate. The problem we're addressing is America, not Trump.

Hear, hear. “He has a disdain for democracy,” [Marit Stiles] said. “He has tried to escape accountability and transparency. He has gone so far as to change the laws of the province to avoid accountability, now he is shutting out the public and the media. Frankly, that’s very Trumpian.” #OnPoli
Done. I called Ford's feedback line & said it was completely unacceptable for him to hold pseudo pressers, without the press and then say, “Thank God we don’t have the media...No answers, no questions — we’re good to go.” Said questions from the press were the way voters held him accountable.

It is *extremely* funny to me that Apple literally LITERALLY built its brand as an imagined hero against Orwellian manipulation of information and is, in 2026, re-writing maps because Donald Trump says so. Not ha-ha funny, exactly, but you get it.

So, I called Ford to say he was imperiling the lives of healthcare workers who ride to work. It feels like the BB airport saga but without the Fed gov pushback to aid in the fight. Still, pls join me if you oppose this vindictive move for CAR VOTES IN THE BURBS. Ford (open 24/7): 416 325-1941
Removing bike lanes will also impede the safety & ability of healthcare workers to ride to work at Toronto Gen, Mt Sinai, Toronto Rehab, Princess Margaret & Sick Kids. Ford knows this since a letter from hospital CEOs, supporting bike lanes, was entered into evidence in the original trial.
The Ontario govt took $60M out of public education and handed it to Staples. Tomorrow, 80K elementary teachers each get $750 of the misappropriated money to buy overpriced classroom supplies at an 🇺🇸 corporation. Please remember this the next time Captain Canada tells you to #BuyCanadian. #OntEd
Driving through Scarborough Southwest and some of the PCPO candidate’s signs have a new yellow sticker that says “Fight Trump.” You mean the guy who sticks up for Lake Ontario by trying to dump a jet runway and a sketchy waterpark onto it?
Absolutely this. As the weather turns cold in the months ahead, let’s resolve, as Canadians, to help our neighbours. If someone in your community has lost their job due to this economic warfare against 🇨🇦, or is otherwise impacted, look for ways to help. Collect food donations etc. #CanadaStrong
I understand. We’re mad as heck. I’ve been asked to swear at them more but channeling our anger into helping our neighbours is more productive. Don’t let this ruin your health by stressing you out. Be resolute. Be determined. Be Canadian. #MedicalAdvice #CanadaStrong
