If the majority of Scottish people were well and truly against independence, wouldn’t a referendum solidify the unionist parties’ beliefs? Or are they too scared to admit the fact that independence is what Scotland wants?

The decision to block Ming Yang's £1.5 billion investment in Ardersier is a self-inflicted wound by the UK government. Scottish investment dragged down by Westminster's anti-China ideology. Independence is the only way to break the cycle.
Right decision. The bill’s definitions were too broad, and the safeguards - in both the original and final versions - were not enough. This shouldn’t be the end of the discussion, though. Scotland needs to invest more directly in palliative care.
