Kildare County Council has signed a contract with Townlink Construction Ltd for the delivery of the new Newbridge Library, County Archives & Cultural Centre. The €18.18 million project on the Athgarvan Road, Newbridge is expected to commence in Aug 2026, with completion anticipated in early 2028.

Last week Ballitore Burial Ground Restoration Group erected a new information sign indicating the location of Mary Leadbeater’s grave. They also launched he 200th commemorative edition of the “Annals of Ballitore” in the Ballitore Community Library and Quaker Museum! #kildarelibraries #ballitore
