His original purpose was to pick up a piece of trash he saw on the ground. Sonic though, who was the opposite of someone who wasn't sociable of course wanted to acknowledge the new person he's never seen around before. She looked similar to another the blue blur has interacted with before.

the odd thing about the surgeon is how she appears to melt back into the shadows effortlessly. despite being a blonde cat, esther grinned almost like the cheshire cat when the body was gone and the eyes and mouth were only visible. maybe it was a trick of the optics? --

Dove was standing in line, waiting to get a cup of coffee. He wanted to get some reading done on his Holmes' collection. Standing around, his eyes couldn't help but drift and look around at the other patrons of the cafe. Until finally, his eyes stop, catching someone.
