Not sure how affordable this is for most people, but after a house fire years ago, I built something similar and can tell you firsthand that it works wonders on air quality. I highly recommend it for anyone who has the means and is in an area affected by the smoke. I can't, but I'll share anyway. 💜

In case anyone is wondering the status of the fires in Canada and the USA (yes, both), and current smoke impact, here are a couple of images that might help you. The forecast for the smoke is currently expected to get much worse over the next couple of days. I suggest people prep accordingly. 💜

The image is a geographical map from NASA displaying active fire locations across the United States and Canada. The map features a variety of landforms, including mountains, forests, and water bodies, outlined in earthy and natural colors. Orange markers, shaped like flames, indicate areas of active fire, concentrated in various regions. Prominent clusters of these flame symbols are seen in North-Western Canada, North Eastern Canada, and the western and southwestern regions of the United States (notably in California, Idaho, and Arizona), with some down in Florida. This map (the second one) shows the areas currently most affected by smoke. Primary areas include the areas previously mentions in the other photo, plus most of each province around them, moving downward covering much of Canada's Southern regions, much of the Eastern coast, and nearing the USA's Western region. Central USA and upper North-West of Canada are mostly untouched.

In light of the recent issues with Linktree, we’ve decided to switch over to Carrd! We’re hoping to have the main page and links ready by the weekend so we can disable the Linktree shortly after. That said, we still have some other plans for it too! Honestly, been wanting to do this for a while! 💜

Trying to get calls through about this situation is really hurting my mental health... I'm almost 2 weeks post-surgery and can't reach anyone... I only have 4 weeks total to submit everything or I lose out on EI, and I can't just go there myself since I have no transportation to the next town over..

Hey everyone… I really hate doing this, but I’m not sure what else to try right now. Work shorted me a few hours of my pay, and the hospital/surgeon is delaying my EI. I’m currently $355 short on rent, and now 3 days late.. If anyone is able to spare anything at all, it would mean a lot. #mutualaid
