Sometimes your favorite artist are gonna evolve in a direction that still resonates with you but other times it wonโt. Theyโre not beholden to only create the ways you want them to and you arenโt beholden to continue to consume their art if you no longer like it.
Art under capitalism has made ppl so entitled to artistโs expression that I think we forget how personal artistic expression is! Itโs personal to the artist first! If you vibe with it as a fan, great! But you donโt get to shove them in a box and say โthis is the only way youโre allowed to expressโ
