King Gargantuas@kinggargantuas.bsky.social · 2d agoI don't typically like recycling old YCH sagas, but I feel it particularly necessary since we're in a bit of a tight financial spot at the moment and I need one that'll be mostly easy to work with than others.
Considering how it's coming out this week, here's a good reminder that those that will weaponize Forgotten Island to attack Disney and Hexed will also be the ones that will really hate on DreamWorks for The Cocomelon Movie next year. They don't actually care about Forgotten Island.

Even if the reason behind SEGA considering killing the franchise makes sense, I'm glad Iizuka fought for the series to continue and I'm also happy that first movie helped his case in that fight. Alot of respect for Iizuka for standing his ground in this scenario.

So far, based on early reviews, Forgotten Island is currently sitting at a 100% critics score on RT! At this point, I'm all the more conflicted about seeing either this (which I already was interested in seeing to begin with) or the RE movie!

*sigh* just as they were, for the most part, uping Sony lately, they continue to remind us why they were the biggest laughing stock for years! Truly the next generation of consoles is dead on arrival at this point!
