how do you feel about adding the ability to have optional comment treads inside cards? (this image is from my earliest kinopio mockups so it's far from how cards look like now)

refining the sidebar TOC interaction. made the TOC icons smaller so that they don't pull too much focus and used a little line on the right to differentiate line dividers from boxes and lists. The button on the bottom toggles on the labels.
WIP Sidebar TOC experiment that uses a sidebar to give you more obvious access to your lines, lists, and boxes. (this would replace the current TOC button in the footer that's easy to forget about). What do you think?
Improved Desktop Zooming [New] Whether you're using a space to give a presentation, or just want to focus on the details in an image, you can now zoom in 300%.
Edit Below Card [New] Use this little toggle to shift the CardDetails editing area out of the way of the card so you can see what you're typing on it.
> Yoooooo you can embed kinopio into Trilium (the note taking app). pretty useful when long form writing – Richie
Added scroll to drag and resize items. So when holding on to an item and scroll, the item will move with you. Same goes for when you're resizing.
🚛 not technically a bug, but fixed an issue where when the page is refreshed your scroll position would go back to 0,0 . This is the default browser behaviour, but on iOS when you switch from kinopio to another app, the page gets unloaded, so when you switched back you'd lose your position
Connector Preview Color [New] When your hover over an item connector, it'll show you what color a new connection line dragged from it will be. Nothing too crazy, just a nice little detail.

If you live in Asia or South America, which is more important to you? Localized language, or price?
🚛 shipped a server update yesterday which brought 40+ dependencies up to date for security, and to keep the app easy to maintain long-term. Everything's been tested and looks good on my end, but still let me know if you see any server related quirks like file uploads failing.
So far I've been only using this account to share new big feature releases, which don't happen that often. Should I post WIP previews, and smaller bug fix updates here too?
Add Due Dates to Cards with @ [New] Type @ to add due dates to cards. Reminders will be sent on the day of. Bring it all together by combining checkboxes, tags, @-user mentions, and due dates, to do full project management.
Filter Tasks by @Assigned to Me [New] In Sidebar → Tasks you can choose to view only tasks assigned to you, in the current space or across all spaces
@User Mentions in Cards [New] Based on feedback from the Teams Pilot program, you can now assign cards to space collaborators and group members by @mentioning them. @mentioned users will be notified (in-app or email).
Complete Tasks Across All Your Spaces [New] Work through the [] checkbox cards and boxes scattered across all your spaces. Kinopio's speed really comes in handy when jumping between todos in different spaces. You can also mark every task in a space complete at once.
Crawlers and non-js browsers visiting a public space URL can now read the card names in the space. Small change but could have a potentially large impact on visibility in search engines.
Fixed a bug where share → 'Copy Public URL' button wouldn't be shown to read-only and not-signed-in users viewing someone else's public space
App API Keys [New] Developers and users of community integrations can create app-specific authorization keys which have permission scopes and can be revoked. This lets you use third-party tools without compromising the safety of your account. User Settings → General → API
Toolbar Tooltips [new] Hovering over the buttons in the toolbars explains the feature with a little video and explanation
Aligning selected boxes now also moves the items inside selected boxes
Added a 'none' header font option to use the default Helvetica font-stack
Improved Alt/Opt Drag to Duplicate [New] Drag duplicating cards includes their connections, boxes duplicate with everything inside, and lists and lines can be now be directly duplicated as well.
