I was talking about this today; I could not care less whether ppl like Akechi but reducing him to murderer does a massive disservice to his character and is BORING. Preaching to the choir but I do beg of everyone to engage with psychologically rich flawed fucked up ugly evil melodramatic bitches✊🏻

Like I'm sorry I can't trust you if you don't at the very least /try/ to understand akechi. If your hate starts and ends at "he kills people" then hmmmmmm I don't like u sorrie.

As much of a worthless failure it makes me feel I am soso so grateful my LoA was approved because I was NOT getting a dissertation written in the state I was/am in. 'Tis a shame I won't have my master's until 2028, but at least I can still get one, you know?

I've never been a tag excluder but I'm also not really a tag *reader*. I filter for a few I do want, read the summaries, and what I get is on me. This has led me to far more kink discoveries than it has nasty surprises so I do not think I will change a thing ever

I can't have Akechi die at all, because ANY resurrection leaves him passive. I need him to save himself, be it on pure instinct (painfully human and inexplicable behaviour that will bug him forever), or by conscious choice (tiny sliver of grace made in-house and served to himself at the very end)

I actually don't know how popular the Jose's star interpretation is re: Akechi's apparent survival when you max his confidant, but the thing for me is that's just another variation of the third semester. It still removes his agency and centres Akira's somewhat selfish desire to just have him alive.
