Update: Got to watch the meteor shower for an hour and it made it all better 🥹

Even if you don't stream, go turn this off. While it says "channel content" which implies streams, it'll likely be trying to capture your chat messages too. Don't think this doesn't affect you cause you don't stream. Turn it off. And check regularly to make sure it stays off.
