Just found someone who criticized me online five years ago for a letter to the editor I wrote. I never saw it because he misspelled one of my names. In a surprising turn of events I think I'm going to decide to not care.

How much of the criticism of Emily Wilson's Odyssey essay is because she is an intellectual woman, speaking her truth to a white, powerful, rich man? (I liked the Odyssey movie fine, but/and I agree with most of her points.) And for the ppl complaining it was too mean, isn't that just, smile more?
