The U.S. Attorney believes that a "public rebuke" and an internal review are sufficient for egregious prosecutorial misconduct that put my family through hell. My seven-year-old is still having nightmares and panic attacks related to this case. Justice requires transparency and accountability.

I am a member of and indigenous people that has been in conflict with imperial forces for well over 2000 years. For as long we have been told by various "priesthoods" that we are not allowed to adopt the latest technology. From steel swords and guns to books and AI, we have done so anyway.

In efforts towards solidarity and building/energizing a mass political movement to crush the Right, about the last thing I want to do is vilify anti-Right allies — even when they vilify anti-Right allies.

And yes; purity and loyalty tests have no place in human relationships.

Authorship was always the wrong question. Accountability was always the right one. In terms of serving the truth it makes no difference whatsoever if Hank Green or others use AI for various purposes. What matters is if the person in question can be trusted to verify all claims before publishing.

I think a lot of people are hungering for a political party whose central value is that everyone belongs except intolerant people. We don't want people that are against freedom of movement across borders and inside. We don't want people that want to control our bodies and minds.

Yes, this whole controversy is anthropological and sociological gold.
