I was lucky enough to read this early, and it's truly amazing the amount of world-building and setting that TD is able to pack into this short it also has one of the most memorable sex scene I have ever - ever!!! -- read truly gross mcnasty and I loved every second of it

I love seeing people's response to Isaac, from the tongue-in-cheek "the trans man tops!" to those responding to the vicious anger of a literally monstrous trans man. Isaac was very important for me, as a writer working through my own gender, so I'm really touched when others respond to him too!

like we're not tokenizing ourselves LOL, like yes I've read some trans books and had some big oof moments bc some of them are not good, okay got it, but we need to stop putting the burden of "making good rep" on every trans creator's shoulders. Just let us make art and you will get variety.
