🧶 It’s #FOFriday and my stranded colourwork jacket (pattern by @knitsedna.bsky.social) is finished, washed, and blocked. The last finishing touches could be covering up the steek edges and adding buttons. Since I almost never close my jackets, buttons seem too tedious to attach. #KnitSky

It has v-neck shaping and the front edging has button holes, but there are no buttons in sight. 🧶Update: Just the front and neck edging missing on this beauty. Even though I’ve done it a few times now, there’s a resistance to cutting my knitted pieces. Am I sure this yarn doesn’t want to be anything else? It’s kind of too hot to work on this, but it’s also so close to finished. #KnitSky

Cesca’s Acacia Leaf work in progress is laid out with a yarn snip on top. You can see both cuffs of the sleeves, showing that both sleeves have been knitted. The cardigan is knitted in a dusty pink yarn with a white colourwork pattern of acacia leaves strewn all over it. Along the front are two vertical columns of white yarn, marking where the fabric will be cut open.
