So devastated to hear this, on top of the Cairngorms & Salisbury Crags fires. The trouble with Cramond Island is that most folk don't realise the causeway is ~1 mile from the mainland & can only be accessed at low tide, so it would be really challenging for the Fire & Rescue service to deal with. 😔

Excellent photo that shows the problem with Holyrood Park. It's the gorse, not the grass, that burns. Not enough resources to properly deal with the gorse. So this will happen again and again with all the attendant costs and implications for wildlife and human health.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.
