you might be aware of the Picky Talk, a line of PDAs released in the late 90s by Casio, only in Japan. but did you know it had its own *modem*? users could exchange data over the line if they both owned modems, but Casio also offered a dial-in service (somewhat like a BBS) named "Super Groovy Net"

made a temp/humidity sensor (+ fursona channeling her inner ☝️🤓)
