Apparently nobody is raising a seed round below $50M anymore. I need to get back into startups!
I wonder if the productivity gains of LLMs are just a result of people working harder because of the expectation that they need to deliver more.
It started life as a Japanese indie tech book (じゅじゅちゅ!), and the English edition expands on the original. Kindle and paperback are also on Amazon. www.amazon.com/dp/B0H82MZBJH Playful outside, serious inside 😄

Now that AI has taken away my coding job, I'm thinking of getting more into art.
So many tokens, and not even one thing built that brings me joy.
I do have a question though, couldn't they just rewrite Claude Code in Rust, instead of acquiring Bun? 🤔
When did it become normal to express compute capacity using energy consumption units? It's like me saying that our team has grown to 560 calories.
The vibe of this screenshot actually made me remember how much I love to write software. It feels like a sane place, music, references to think and learn, the place where you are typing. It feels like a zen setup.
Trying to get used to Zellij and Helix at the same time. Feels a bit uncomfortable and overwhelming, but no pain no gain.

new demoscene where we tear down and rewrite a codebase by hand every year, to keep our tacit knowledge alive
I'm only writing Rust by hand this week. To keep my skills sharp. 🗡

Little update on my reflection adventures: I have extracted the core components of Pavex's compile-time reflection engine as a set of standalone crates! It serves as a preliminary step ahead of another release in the coming weeks 🛠️
I used to pick up new programming languages all the time. But since I learned Rust, I just stopped. There was no other language out there that got me curious. I know well and really like the ideas behind Clojure and Elixir for example, but I never pick them for new projects I work on.
**insert Dr. Strange meme of 14 million futures** Sometimes there is a very clear, but extremely narrow path to success.

Coding agents still have a long way to go before they can compete with the best developers in their domains.
Bun is maintaining a Zig fork and not upstreaming their changes because Zig doesn't allow LLM-authored changes? I feel like I missed a huge drama in the OSS space. What is going on here?
I wrote a blog post about sandboxes, schedulers, and how we're scaling our infrastructure at @tensorlake.ai. Go check it out! www.tensorlake.ai/blog/startin...
Starting hundreds of sandboxes in parallel, and the design that makes it possible.
A 1,000-sandbox evaluation harness doesn't care about your reconciliation loop. We replaced ours with a durable command outbox — and sandboxes stopped waiting in line.

Claude Design unlocks the project manager’s dream of making the button bigger without pushback. Half of your design team will be fired in a month, the design system and branding guidelines thrown in the trash, and the App Store ratings down one or two points in a few months time.
The act of insertion and removal provides a psychological gate between "starting", "doing" and "finishing". It is the opposite of The Eternal Scroll. It is the hero we need.
I was looking for where can I host my code in EU and found this lubeno.dev by @kolobara.com Looks really promising. 🤞

The US is on a speedrun to turn every market into gambling and remove as many protections as possible.
BREAKING: The SEC has reportedly eliminated the Pattern Day Trader rule, replacing it with a new intraday margin system. The requirement to maintain a $25,000 balance to engage in day trading is being scrapped.
How about the AI does the planing and reviewing, and I just write the code?
