I've been thinking about the fact that AI, despite ostensibly being technological progress, is "conservative coded." Why are so many progressives anti-AI, while conservatives are more open to it? I think the answer is that progressivism is built on the belief of the inherent value of all humans

When people ask how I lost weight I try to be very clear that a calorie deficit needs to happen one way or another for weight to go down. It’s exasperating how often people will then dismiss me, saying not everybody can be in a deficit and lose weight, that I had it easy, etc.

I actually did try to read one of JK Rowling's post-HP adult detective novels, but the moment she wrote a scene where the protagonist pulls out his phone and goes on Twitter I was just like "yeah I'm not doing this"
