I know it’s easier to believe these are scams- but they’re not. People in Gaza have smartphones and access to socials while they’re being threatened and killed. This is the reality of it all. They are asking for the most basic things.
Another family ravaged with sickness and hunger. These people are our neighbors.

I realized one of the reasons this bothers me so much. For those of us who aren’t cis white men, we’ve already had to spend our art careers proving our worth and now we have to also prove that we aren’t robots over and over. It’s another exhausting burden. So maybe take that into consideration.

We all have to be sus these days (and never trust large corps) but we also shouldn't go so hard other way that we treat everyone as guilty til proven innocent. You don't always have to assume the worst.
