The frustrations of the past closeted self, a reflection on the release of justified anger into the infinite vessel of chaos. Two aspects of the self in release. (Contained release experienced from being entrapped in non-living, self trapped in self limitation) sigils of Coati and Zacchaeus

"Wing Span" 12"x18" Acrylic, conte crayon, colored pencil, paint pen on reclaimed wood Are they spreading their wings to dry, or flicking water off their hands? And also: what's the difference? A slightly different arrangement of particles is all that separates us from our animal kin.

A heron in red and blue stares fiercely while it shuffles its wings and a human arm superimposed over the top, as if it is the heron's arm and wing at once.

🌄 Star Stags 🌌 I was very inspired by the Tuva Republic petroglyphs, two of the little stag depictions are copies (first two, top left) while the rest are my own drawings. I'm very keen on getting this design printed on tote bags if there was interest! :)

A black and white illustration featuring a bounding stag, the ends of its antlers taking on the shape of stars. Another star sits above its head, more stars surrounding the deer. Many simple little drawings in a rock art style with more star horned stags are by the upper left and bottom right of the animal. Floral motifs with the flowers taking on a heart shape surround them and the illustration is framed by simple patterned borders.

"Prairie Memory" 7"x4" Acrylic, crackle paste, ceramic, wax pastel, colored pencil, & charcoal on reclaimed wood This horse sculpture popped in the kiln. But even after great setback, healing can take place. The prairie will return.

A small rectangular art piece with a crackly, dusty surface that has the fragments of a small horse sculpture arranged. On the body is drawn wheat stalks and grasses. the horse is painted to resemble the Lascaux cave horse, red body and white undercarriage and black mane and feet and muzzle

"Security Detail" Acrylic, collage, colored pencil, paint pen, pastel, charcoal on reclaimed wood Even one mouse can do a lot of damage. Keep a good eye out for mICE in our communities. Don't stop fighting. Sharpen those claws, freshen those eyes, and keep the cool calm of a cat all the while.

A horizontal format painting of a tuxedo cat in orangey yellow and purple. They stalk along and look over their shoulder, alert, at a drawing of a mouse on the wall made to resemble ancient art. Wheat stalks, drawn on the wall AND popping out to become real, frame the animals.
