I'm pulling the trigger on migrating to Bluesky-based commenting on my blog! It's not free of tradeoffs, but I think "identity" is paramount today, and you may as well lean into social/knowledge networks as Google increasingly gets overwhelmed crawling AI-generated garbage.

Does anyone (besides spammers) still comment on random blog posts they find occasionally? From my experience, the answer is "not really." But one of my side projects has been doing alright on a Bluesky-based comments package. I am tempted to go in that direction with my main portfolio/blog too...
