I’m getting really into this anime that is romance of the three kingdoms but instead of kings and generals fighting it’s girls humping pillows and instead of watching it on a screen it’s flashing in my mind as I look at the smoke in the sky and bleed out near the Somme river in August 1916
I want to do this level of acoustically cooked for the next disasteradio record but I have to go to work instead www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hnH...

Was a real pleasure to write about ten of my favourite songs by The Clean for the Guardian to celebrate the publication of Richard Langston's excellent oral history of the band 'The Clean: in the dreamlife you need a rubber soul'.
The Clean – 10 of the best
The Dunedin band had an indelible influence on acts such as Pavement and Guided by Voices. A new oral history by Richard Langston is out now

Super interesting new episode of the Ethan Hein's music theory podcast, discussing rock harmony.
