So I've been on a hiatus reading wise because work is kicking my ass but apparently there's a lot of heat against the Astarion book now? 😬😬
Being sick isn't all too bad if you're a gamer and like to read... But I can't help but to think of all I need to get done at work 😩
After Astarion, I'm definitely now in a reading slump 😅 Good thing the new 1.0 update for Valheim came out!
Even though it's still hot, there's a slight wind that lets you know autumn is coming 🍂🍁🌬️
Update... They didn't have the book yet they had Knave and the Moon which published the same day? I put an order in the store but then it got cancelled!
Krista@kritters-tomes.bsky.social · 2mo agoRunning after work to the bookstore to get Under Story by Chloe Benjamin today! If there were changes made to the chapters to label the chapters that went back and forth in time, then this will probably be a 6⭐ read for me for the year so far. 📚💙

My community is not a trope, you absolute banana. We are worth more than being barely tolerated background characters. This is not ‘no shade’. This is ‘huge shade, but don’t hold me accountable’. The unkindness is revolting. You don’t get to agree to disagree on our existence.
I know Snake-Eater is supposed to take place in Arizona but I feel like New Mexico would just hit better. It's literally called "The Land of Enchantment" 📚💙
Decided to swap den Suriel to a vengeance paladin.. seems more fitting 🦡🗡️🛡️ #bg3 #astarion #tkingfisher
My spouse is like "why do you want a unicorn in your deck?"...🤔 • It's literally a 1% drop... 😂 • "It's a nearly impossible quest, the sort of thing that makes or breaks great heroes, and then you'd still have to find the damned unicorn."📚💙 • #magicthegathering #tkingfisher #bg3 #astarion
I definitely would have preferred the Secret Lair shirtless Astarion for my Commander card but I cannot justify paying $50+ 🥲
My best friend had her twin girls today 😭🩷🩷 I'm so thankful everyone came out of it healthy!
This is so good I stayed up all night reading it. Love me some Kingfisher and her gritty horrific writing. I need a hardcopy once it's released 😄. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in exchange for my honest review. Release Day~September 29, 2026 ⭐️5/5⭐️ #netgalley #booksky #fantasy
So I started Snake-Eater at work today and it's the main character getting off the train... 👀 ...with intense anxious thoughts and anxiety.... Trend?
Oof I didn't know the 80% badge dropped on Netgalley 😭 Had it for a while then a bunch of approvals brought my rating to 79% and it disappeared 🥲 📚💙
🪱🪰🪱🪰🪱🪰🪱🪰🪱 • I was confused at first because I was like "where was the gore, the horror?" And then WHAM... Possessed botfly possum and the book went up from there 😅 • Not bad for my first finished T. Kingfisher novel. I just put Snake-Eater on hold next at my library! 📚💙
Not me taking a slow ass time to read Astarion because just like the video game... I don't want it to enddd
Literally the book I need to conquer is Last of the Mohicans... 😅 I tried to start it in highschool because I loved the film score.. Needless to say my book is also a little warped and I never finished it. I need to try again 😬 📚💙
Finally..a chill weekend without having to work or deal with craziness 😩📚💙
