What if hostile foreign governments were able to control social network algorithms in the United States, suppressing information vital to our survival as a democracy? That would be weird.

NEW: I just uncovered more evidence that Donald Trump is spending hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars to print giant banners of his face and put them on government buildings. Not only a terrible waste of the hard-earned dollars of the American people, but also an illegal use of public funds.

The Trump administration's newest corruption scheme just dropped. Kash Patel may be using the FBI's budget as his personal slush fund to pay agents tens of thousands of dollars in exchange for carrying out illegal orders, or as hush money to keep quiet about what they witnessed.

Kash Patel may have a 'personal slush fund' of taxpayer dollars to pay loyalist agents, says Raskin

Rep. Jamie Raskin is demanding documents from the FBI director, citing claims that $8,000 payments are made to agents who carry out “unlawful partisan and personal orders.”

US Constitutinal Aendments needed: 1) Repeal the presidential pardon power retroactive to the start of Trumps second turn. 2) Citizens Empowered: End money in politics and make it illegal for SC Congress and the president to trade in stocks. Full financial disclosure including returns

There is no clearer case for the necessity of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 than how quickly southern states moved to eliminate Black-majority districts and dilute Black power after SCOTUS eroded Section 2. SCOTUS’s reasoning was immediately disproven by reality.

If citizen's united and the SCOTUS says that corporations have the same rights as people, then why are people allowed to own or own stock in corporations? Wouldn't that constitute slavery?

"We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both." –Justice Louis Brandeis Words spoken many years ago that are just as relevant today. We must continue the fight to get big money out of politics.

Holy shit. I don’t have words for how corrupt this is. Keep in mind, the Ukraine whistleblower is still anonymous. And Gabbard kept a whistleblower report from Congress about a call between foreign intel agents discussing someone close to Trump and Iran. @andrewbakaj.bsky.social

BREAKING on MS NOW: Tulsi Gabbard just referred the whistleblower whose complaint led to the first impeachment of Trump — and the Inspector General who deemed the complaint "credible" — for possible criminal prosecution by the Trump Justice Department.

CNN really knows which stories need to be behind the paywall and which ones are important enough to public interest to allow anyone to read them:

We overlook in the conversation of renewable energy that it is a boon to national security. It spreads out the energy infrastructure making it hard to destroy. Its easy to bomb a natural gas power plant but when every house and parking lot has solar panels on it, you can't wipe out the whole grid.

This is Belgium’s Pairi Daiza, theworld’s largest solar-covered car park: • 93,000 panels • 40MW • 39,899 MWh/yr • 200,000 m² Proving: you can scale solar without new land, co-locate generation + parking + EV charging, and turn passive infrastructure into energy assets. ⚡ #Bettrification
