@radiofreeskaro.bsky.social My first #metropolis viewing was pseudo-authentic. The Uptown theatre in YYC brought in an organist with a remastered print of the film and a theremin for sound fx. For extra athleticism the film jumped the track and burned at one point!

@astronomycast.com Re: tricorders I did some training in Houston and thought I might have appendicitis (it wasn’t) and when I flew home 🇨🇦 at the end of the week (and still in pain) the “nudoteon 3000” scanners IAH flagged my lower right abdomen for a pat down. Security and medical scanner!
