Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

I remember reading a thread on an old Sonic forum and someone linking to an OC ReMix somewhere around 2002, specifically Jivemaster's "Chemical Juice." It was all downhill from there!
🎂 Hey hey, it's OC ReMix founder @djpretzel.bsky.social's BIRTHDAY today! 1. Do him a solid! If you remember, please share how you first learned of OC ReMix! 2. Do us a solid! Tag friends who love video game music and recommend they explore the free VGM fan arrangements from ocremix.org! (Thanks!)
Gonna tell your grandkids that this was The Odyssey
At the risk of letting my not-so-secret brainrot leak out all over the place and causing a trip hazard: If Genshin wasn't Chinese, Columbina and Sandrone would've kissed. I'd say "change my mind," but you won't.
Me and @caitastrophe.bsky.social won an award for our Copied City cover a few months back, and this just came in the mail! Thanks again @vgmcon.bsky.social #gmra

like i get that having a physical thing that represents a game that you can store on your shelf is neat, but in today’s day and age especially, that is not preservation. you really have to take this shit into your own hands if you want to easily be able to play your favourites into the far future
With the way pricing is going, it's starting to become pretty clear that us plebs are no longer the game industry's intended audience. And hey look, a convenient scapegoat in the form of AI & ballooning hardware costs! Never mind out of control software development costs too.
Everyone was pissed at Valve for a $1000+ digital-only console; turns out they were just slightly ahead of the curve. Don't worry though, I'm sure Sony and Microsoft will have a "low-cost option" in the form of some type of streaming stick. Need to get that recurring revenue from somewhere.
There's a lot of powerful themes explored in Supergirl which is why it's wild to me to see some folks labeling it as boring or repetitive. My take-away from it was that it's filled with humor, action, and several emotional scene that tackle some very real and honest issues. It has heart.
Wrote up a little newsletter about why people should go see "Supergirl" -- and watch "Sorry, Baby" and "Is God Is" "They’re all very different films, but they all grapple with what it means to embrace life under the totalitarian horror of misogynist violence." news.chanda.science/archive/you-...
To be clear: Yes, I was offered a cut. I have refused any money, for a variety of reasons. I really don't want to bring attention to it, or him, but I can't be sure what's being said on my behalf.
This angers me so much. Especially since he's boasting about how @ianflynnbkc.bsky.social was getting paid for all this. What a petty toxic evil man.
I specifically told him not to include me in this. Not my face, not my name, nor my work. He did so anyway. But then again that's just the type of person he is. *edited b/c of typos. I blame the severe headache that started before seeing this. It isn't helping.
How much you wanna bet Ken just took all these photos from shutterstock? (Or at least Karl, @ianflynnbkc.bsky.social and @yardleyart.bsky.social's)
Since I've been getting this a lot recently: I do not work for IDW, Sega, or any one studio/company. I am not an employee, let alone an editor or hiring manager. I cannot give you a job. I'm constantly hunting them down myself. Sorry!
GTA6 is still cheaper than Phantasy Star IV was. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you should play Phantasy Star IV.
There are two things about the Steam Machine that might make the price a little easier to swallow: buying games on Steam is almost always way cheaper than anywhere else, and the library will largely always be cross-compatible between any PC you own now and in the future.
I have to wonder if the people saying that you should just build a PC over a Steam Machine have a TV stand that can physically fit the average PC case.
