What trauma Gisèle’s experienced is almost entirely from being born an elf w magic in Thedas and going thru canon DA:O events before becoming WoL. None of it was for “development” and it’s one reason I elected not to pile on and altered/struck a lot of the SE canon traumatic events from her story.

I love being a polyamorous bisexual femme and would not change that for anything but the world is so hateful and cruel it’s very exhausting
idk. I know it’s ultimately just basic bitch anti-black anti-latine racism and queerphobia at the root of it, but I’ve never been the type of person to get mad when I don’t understand art. I can appreciate something without understanding it but also my kneejerk reaction is curiosity, not anger.
actually let me pull this out because this is so common a thing in like every area of life. it’s a daily demand of marginalized ppl that we navigate a society where we are not the default and so we HAVE to learn abt the majority cishet white christian culture just to survive. but ours are “niche”.

Farewell to a real one. She left absolutely no crumbs. I know I did the stage door before but I felt compelled to thank everybody for making such a wonderful magical place and repping the culture so beautifully and joyfully. I feel so proud of this show and this cast.
Tipsy and very emotional at the stage door so pls forgive me. It was even better the second time but bittersweet knowing this is nearly the end. For such an ephemeral moment something so beautiful and magical was made and shared with the world and I feel so blessed to have been able to experience it
