Added mesh activity to potatomesh.net Interesting metric: #Meshtastic 0.97 packets per node and hour; #Meshcore 0.29 packets per node and hour. So, on average, Meshtastic nodes in Berlin send one packet each hour where as Meshcore nodes only send one in 3 hours (this includes messages though).

My #meshcore rooftop repeater got a little sister, a #meshtastic router (late). Happy meshing everyone ☀

Codeberg just banned all crypto-currency projects. Quote: "Content that harms the reputation of Codeberg, such as - but not limited to - cryptocurrency related projects." I would argue, no matter where you stand on blockchain, such a policy harms Codeberg more than any single project.

Received two #meshcore messages from Berlin in Helsinki, 11 and 19 hops. This is getting out of hand.
Adam and Eve ignoring God and trying the fruit of knowledge was an act of emancipation and liberation. Yet, thousands of years later, religion still tries to keep us down with stories of lies about the evil nature of Satan.
Today there is DoD Stammtisch on board of @c-base.org - and some friends still in town from @getdweb.net camp will come over.
My favorite response from the local AI bot we hosted on #meshcore at @getdweb.net DWeb Camp was this. "The bot rescues robots using techniques like jumping, punching, and spin-attacking."

📡 We are going to setup a mesh network at DWeb Camp, bring all your LoRa devices! 📟 If you don’t have one but you are interested in learning more and tinker with this resilient communication technology, you can buy a device alongside your camp ticket, here DM or email us if you have any questions!
First tickets for @getdweb.net camp are sold out (these might come back when more people donate or buy patron tickets) - but other things like RV spots likely won't come back - so get them while available. Space is limited!
My parental leave is coming to an end and I'm for hire starting September. Hit me up.

A clean-room continuation of portduino, why I forked it instead of fixing it in place, and what falls out when you stop patching your dependencies.

Bought my #DWebCamp @getdweb.net ticket! dwebcamp.org/tickets/ Yes, I did end up buying another mesh networking device which @dod.ngo is helping with - I got the e-ink one!
