I will also use this opportunity to rant about trying to escape a silo by creating new silos like codeberg.org or code.c-base.org And conveniently just got this when searching the forgejo repo for issues tagged with federation ..

Today we will have our next Stammtisch on board of @c-base.org. This will be the first one since the @getdweb.net camp - so we will likely talk about what happened there. Topics will also be the next actions of the DoD like: platform.openmeet.net/events/code-...
We just got a speaker confirmed to also introduce Jujutsu (aka jj) at our meetup on the 5.10 on board of @c-base.org This evening is shaping up nicely and we can have a look into a decent future for code collaboration after Git(Hub) Please RSVP here: platform.openmeet.net/events/code-...
Yesterday there where echoes of @getdweb.net camp at @berlinfediday.berlin.social.ap.brid.gy by @cypherhippie.bsky.social Awesome to see AT Protocol and ActivityPub getting closer together and join the fight against centralisation instead of wasting energy with infighting - this is the way!
@kaanuzdogan.bsky.social @franzi.bsky.social @kalambet.dev 👋 I'm traveling to Berlin soon and saw there's a DoD meetup at c-base on the 16th. I'll try to attend!
Swapfest #6 begins at 12:00 at @c-base.org! If you have a table please come a little early to make sure you have time to set up! See everyone soon!

Good summary of what #dweb is good for: "It's less about being _the most right_ than about maintaining diversity of thought, curiosity, critical reflexivity, and connection to our underlying social values."
Meri@meri.garden · 2mo agoI got into tech six years ago because I figured I could have an outsized impact on making a less harmful, more empowering world for workers and marginalised people. Only this year, I started connecting IRL with people who think this way. Here I tried to write about the ways that's transformed me.

Two weeks ago Solibus e.V. got everyone to #DWebCamp and back. A grassroots project from Berlin, financed through solidarity: mobility for all, so camp was accessible to everyone. Danke. @solibus.bsky.social 👇
Trying out @freedombrowser.bsky.social - I really like the intent - but also shows the whole ecosystem there still needs so much work.

Just came back from #dwebcamp. By far the best community event I've been to! So many in-depth talks about everything from decentralized communication to open knowledge. Thanks to @getdweb.net, @dod.ngo, and the volunteers for the amazing effort! Much love to everyone there and hope to see you soon!
Firs instance of ChaiGPT running at @getdweb.net camp. No tokens needed for this one. Find it in the chaos infusion tent.
