My brain: wow, you have not accomplished ANYTHING today, what a slug, what an absolute potato (I started two more fruit shrubs, did some garden work, cleaned the bathroom, wrapped Scott's bday gifts, and did 2.5 hours of actual work-work, even though I'm on PTO today) Brains are fuckin' THE WORST
Y'all will never guess what's in today's garden haul... Just kidding, it's MORE TOMATOES The green one was an oops cut (shared a stem with the big pink one next to it, and I cut too high). If it doesn't start to turn pink in a day or two, I'll just be forced to make fried green tomatoes (oh no! 😏)
Made a ratatouille pasta bake using a bunch of veggies from the garden (and also from the store), and it was yummy

Ok so this lady says solar panels are getting built on "the most productive farmland" in her area. Which just ain't true at all. It ain't true here in NC either. Where I ALSO hear that talking point over & over again. Smells like astroturf! So let's get the dirt on solar farms & dirt ✨

The final result: spinach basil garlic fettuccini with grilled chicken & puttanesca sauce (cherry tomatoes, capers, kalamata olives, garlic, red pepper flakes, olive oil, fresh basil & oregano), topped with shaved Parmesan
Finally time to use all these cherry tomatoes... Making linguini puttanesca 🤤
