OC speech quirks, part 2! For Blanche! (Bonus points if you can guess why he'd give this nickname to his sunflower.) 🌻 #art #OCArt #drawing #traditionalArt #sketchbook

He uses very out-there scenarios to express himself, often as a calmer alternative to swearing and cussing. Pictured is Blanche looking annoyed and tired, saying "If I don't find a place to sit in the next 2 minutes, I may summon thirty to fifty wild hogs on these premises".

He's most likely to just go silent if stumped or surprised. Pictured is Blanche staring blankly while Modem Noises are buzzing.

He likes to give names to his favorite plants. Pictured is Blanche happily watering a sunflower and saying "You're looking especially radiant today, Monsieur Fibonacci".

OC speech quirks, part 1! For Blanche :) #OC #OCs #OCArt #art #inkDrawing #OCsky #dndCharacter

First speech quirk for Blanche: He peppers French phrases into his speech. Illustrated in ink is a panel of Blanche waving and saying "Bonjour", and another of Blanche petting Leon's arm and saying "Do not échauffer yourself, mon chou".

Second speech quirks: He uses complex vocabulary if it feels like the most precise way to express a thought... to him at least. Illustrated is Blanche fetching a flat baked treat from the oven and saying "The structural integrity of my soufflé has been compromised..."

Third speech quirk: Very deadpan humor. Picured are Blanche and Leon looking at a skeleton on the floor, and Blanche saying "Mon chou, do not be shocked, but I think he may be dead".

I finished painting this little garden path! 🌿 I should use this deep, cool green more often. It's very relaxing. The medium is watercolour, and final tweaks with coloured pencils. #art #traditionalArt #watercolor #painting #nature #OCArt #oc #fantasyArt

Watercolor painting of a garden path, with a sitting spot around a small circular pond. Blanche is sitting on the bench and writing in a notebook while birds hop between the white-blooming shrubs.

Felt like adding watercolors to this drawing as well. :) #art #traditionalArt #watercolor #OCArt

Drawing of my elf OC Blanche resting in a field of ground ivy, blooming purple here and there. He has his eyes closed and looks tired, but not fully at peace. The colors are somewhat cool, as if on an overhung day.

A wider shot of the painting on the clipboard, with the little watercolor palette next to it.

A recent watercolour painting, inspired by my impressions of Portuguese spring 🌿 #art #watercolor #drawing #oc #OCArt #traditionalArt

A colourful drawing of my character Jasper trekking through a lush sunny landscape, surrounded by flowers and sandy cliffs. The image is framed by a floral design. Jasper is wearing a leather rucksack and a cap, as well as a tassled jacket, and giving the viewer an adventurous look.

🌧️ And when your heart was weak, the world caught you. It caught you with hands of twigs and leaves and teeming rain, and the greenest green you've ever seen 🌿 #OCArt #art #illustration #dnd #oc #drawing #nature #botanical

Art of Blanche laying in a field of ground ivy, which is lush and blooming purple in places. The plants are hugging around him as his eyes are closed, not quite at peace but soothed.

Recent artwork I drew for Bub8les' cover of the song Judgment on Youtube! :) #undertale #fanArt #art #digitalArt #utdr #undertaleFanArt #sans #eyeContact

Artwork of Sans from Undertale in the judgment hall, reaching out a hand to the viewer while his right eye is lit up blue. Around him is a collection of items illustrating the different routes in the game - the heart locket, butterscotch pie and knife on one side and the Temmie flakes, stick and hotdog on the other.

"And what if I pretended like I knew what I was doing?" 🌹 Trying out a softer shading style with Blanche and Leon. The background is stolen... from myself actually, it's one of the garden BGs I drew for Lunchbreaks 😆 #art #digitalArt #OCArt #OC #boyslove #friendsToLovers #romance #fantasyArt

Drawing of Leon, an orc in a letterman jacket, shyly giving a flower to Blanche, a white-haired elf. The flower is already a bit wilted from how tightly he was clutching it. Both are looking flustered, and the colours are warm and soft like at sunset.

Dev (LadyIcepaw)@ladyicepaw.bsky.social · 8mo ago

You fascinate me so 🌼🌻🌿 #art #digitalArt #OC #OCArt #botanical #illustration #romance

A drawing of Blanche and Leon in a card-like format, so it can be flipped to see each of the boy's perspectives. They are surrounded by plants and the colours are warm and sunny. Both are holding a flower bouquet in one hand and using the other to play with their partner's hair. Blanche is whispering something affectionately to Leon, who looks smitten.

Same drawing but flipped to show Leon's perspective.

He is in his thinking spot. 🌻😌

A warm, sunny illustration of Blanche sitting cross-legged in the greenhouse and calmly faceplanting a sunflower bloom. He is holding tussilago in his hands and in the background, sweetbriar is lushly blooming.

More Skyrim ocs~ Jordan wants so badly to convince you he's a scary mage who will kill all dragons. But his curses are just healing spells, and hitting something with a sword makes him feel bad. the worst at being the worst. [ #art #oc #skyrim #tes ]

An illustration of my OC, Jordan!
But skyrim AU.

On the left is a full body illustration of a tall athletic Imperial man. He has shaggy brown hair and a mustache with some grey at his temples. He's wearing common clothes, a plain tunic, slacks, boots, with a dark coat over the worker's apparel. His eyes are smeared with dark war-paint to give himself a more intimidating appearance... but it doesn't work that well.

To the right is a bust of Jordan casting a spell. He's enraged as he screams at his foe to 'die' while he charges a spell in his raised hand. The spell is a healing spell though... not a damage one.

Below is an image of him weeping. Tears run down his face smudging the dark war paint. "Why am I so bad at killing?" Is written in a speech bubble next to him.

between the illustrations is some info/text about him. "Jordan Arm-Strong
he/him | 38 | 6'5" | Mage Stone
Lineage: Imperial/Nord
Affiliation:
- Helgen Survivor
Top Skills:
- Enchanting
- Smithing
- Restoration"

Drawing of a man in a greenhouse, illustrated using ballpoint pens, and colored pencils. He is wearing specs, a sling bag, an ID, and he is writing on his notebook. Behind him are potted plants, hanging vases, an entire rack filled with flowers and plants, and a cart beside him is filled with gardening tools.

Punk Prince. 👑 Been sitting on this drawing for many months because I wasn't sure what to do with the colours. Now it may actually be one of my favourite pieces from 2025 😌 #art #drawing #punk #ocArt #comicArt

Drawing of Jasper in a cocky pose and with an assertive, brooding expression, dressed in colourful modern fashion. He has a sceptre hoisted over his shoulder, and the shapy graffiti filigrees in the background have a texture of paint splotches. One of the background elements suggests a crown on Jasper's head. Against the dark background, the bright and saturated tones of pink, yellow and red are shining all the more.

Happy Halloween! 🎃🦇🕯️

An illustration of Cheats as a scarecrow with a jack-o-lantern head, Adra as a witch, Scrambled Eggs as herself, and Crit as a mummy for Halloween. In the bottom left it says 'Happy Halloween!' in handwritten text.

Halloween is almost here 🖤🍷🩸

Illustration by Abigail Larson for "The Horror Tarot" depicting a seance scene in tones of red. Hands rest on a planchette hovering over a Ouija board. There's a red curtain backdrop, and a vintage brass lamp with a red glass shade lights the scene. Small candles and a red glass water pitcher and goblet are arranged on the table.

An illustration by Abigail Larson from "The Horror Tarot" depicting someone fast asleep in a large green antique bed while goblins with glowing yellow eyes and shadowy hands creep out from the darkness unnoticed.

Illustration for the Horror Tarot of the Queen of Cups card showing a vampire in a Victorian dress drinking blood from a goblet.

This illustration is from "The Horror Tarot" deck published by Insight Editions and illustrated by Abigail Larson. Illustration is a stylized version of "the chariot" tarot card depicting a black horse-drawn carriage approaching an ominously glowing cliff. The horse is rears at the edge of the deep red precipice. The background shows a large tree obscured by thick mist.

Your head's on fire! #art #traditionalArt #inkdrawing

Super simple graphical ink drawing of the silhouette of Blanche's head on a black flame. His eyes are indicated as simple black shapes. He seems startled!

Something a little befitting of spooky season. Doing intricate ink work is fun :) #art #traditionalArt #dnd #oc #ocArt #horror #inkArt

Ink drawing of Blanche, an elf wizard, treading through the darkness with his light spell to guide him. Behind him, a gritty mass of tendrils and huge hands with eyeballs in concerning places is grasping after him. The text above says:
"Extinguish your light, child," said the entity, "and I will take away your uncertainty and pain."
"How funny... You'd imagine a spider making such a promise to a fly."

"I'm a wizard, mind you." Seems like I'm finally finding an approach to watercolours that doesn't confuse me! The key is to keep my materials and workspace so simple and small that I can't put unneccessary pressure on myself, and can just enjoy playing. #watercolor #traditionalArt #dnd #oc

Watercolour doodle of a cutesy elf wizard with very big pointy ears and super tired eyes. He's holding up his spellbook with little enthusiasm. The water brush pen is visible on the sketchbook page in the photo.

:) ! 🎨 Turns out I haven't actually done many full-color illustrations this year yet - or too many commission pieces I'm not allowed to share yet - but these are all from my personal stash and I loved working on them! #color_wheel #the_color_wheel #illustration #digitalArt
