I think I have realized no amount of historical records are enough to convince people of reality once it slips out of living memory. Can’t meet someone who was witness to an event? It didn’t happen to many people. This is one reason why Holocaust denial is so common now

It’s interesting to see how creaky mid-20th century pop culture behemoths have finally become (Dr. Who, Bond, Star Wars, and Star Trek.). I am unsure what their replacements in public consciousness will be. I’m excited to find out though.

The LDS is sociologically Christian, but it’s so unorthodox from core Nicene Christianity that I understand why theologically it would be considered a distinct religion. I just don’t think the military is the right place to have this debate!

A gross opinion of mine is that I enjoyed reading listicles like, “All Scorsese movies ranked” or “The best sword and sorcery books ranked” and there seem to be very few left that were actually written by humans that Google suggests anymore.
