The lionfish symbolism comes in 2 forms in his story, both in him being invasive, an intruder and liar on the ship he calls home, as well as his ignorance, similar to that of a lionfishes. Lionfish do not flee from threats and view themselves as untouchable due to their spines, and will even stay put after watching another lionfish be killed right infront of them. Acre shares this insane ignorance in the regard of his manipulation, he does not believe he can be caught and believes he can lie and manipulate his wat out of anything.
