Johnny Reynolds says a customs union isn't the answer. We agree. It'd deliver 0.5-0.7% of long run GDP growth - but for a £14-19bn economic boost, we'd be ceding control of at least part of our trade & tariff policy, with little say on how such decisions get taken. EU membership IS the answer.
