Summer’s Sword ☀️🗡️ | Fantasy Romance 💛🧚🏼

As I write, I’m really leaning on beta readers. I sent the first two chapters of Summer’s Sword to friends who gave me tremendous feedback! These people ranged from avid fantasy readers to romance readers to casual readers. Their input thus far has been beyond helpful!

I really wish my writing routine wasn’t 2 hours of TV, followed by 1 hour of doomscrolling, followed by 1 hour of guzzling caffeine and staring at my MS while thinking “what even IS this?” and then like… 30 mins of frenzied panic-writing before my writing session time is up.

It’s never not jarring going from being the one who was reading and pitching from the slush pile to being the one sending stuff *to* the slush pile… #WritersinPublishing ? Is that a thing? I’m making it a thing.
