Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

Kotaku parading that garbage "recompilation" Generation 1 Pokémon project is genuinely upsetting. I was hoping the communities would reject vibe coded garbage, but these people are now intentionally hiding the usage and even lying that it's hand-written to peddle their slop onto others.

Watching playthroughs of Halo Campaign Evolved and good lord, man. 90% of this thing feels lab-designed to piss me off. I dunno about the new voices. Sgt. Johnson I understand, and his actor sounds alright. Chief is okay. Keyes is just straight up distracting and Cortana is directed pretty badly.

Over a year ago, a Dutch frog science magazine emailed me asking if they could include my comic in their upcoming issue about dart frogs. They were interviewing the scientist who first described the blue poison dart frog; he had seen and liked the comic. They mailed me a copy, which just arrived:
