Tilda Swindog Swift Pope, angel baby bunny rabbit light of my life, is 6 today. For the next few months we're the same age in dog years and human years, and I'm pretty excited about out life stages lining up like this.

Content strategy and content design for charities and arts orgs. Also: Brighton, plants, my dog, typos.
My neighbour's taste in music is best described as 90s school disco: Cottoneye Joe, Jump Around, The Shoop Shoop Song.
My physio has told me that I need to manspread and that I'm fucking up my hip and back by not taking up space. Did not expect that, but I'm into it.
Nature has been generous this week. Just finished eating blackberries and ice cream covered in fig leaf syrup. I also made mugwort face oil, and I'm attempting to make blackberry, linden and basil mead as well. (Fermentation scares me.)
Having a good Friday: dog is with me at work, FIP on the radio and every song is better than the last, and I'm doing a content audit and marking 90% of pages as delete.
Odyssey review: I would like a whole Samantha Morton Circe film, please (not directed by Christopher Nolan)

There is a breeze running through my flat. After a week of intense stuffy heat, I am revelling in this refreshing zephyr. It's been the main topic of conversation at home today. Need to check which deity I should be thanking for it.
I'm doing a herbalism course at the moment. There's one man in the sea of women doing the course, and every time we meet he: 1. Finishes the teacher's sentences 2. Talks over the teacher 3. Contradicts the teacher It is absolutely insufferable.
Can you help me by completing a survey for a study on AI and charity content? It covers AI tool use, organisational support, and how you feel about AI. It's open to anyone who produces content as part of their role. You don't have to work for a charity. It takes 5–15 minutes tally.so/r/pbZqQP

Reason number 104 I love being self-employed: I am/my business is sponsoring Trans Pride Brighton again this year. I'd do it anyway but, sadly, it feels more important than ever to show support and add my voice to the protest.
I've been making a lot of cold, fresh herb infusions this summer. Today's is rose, lemon balm, and peppermint, and it tastes like a cool breeze in a country garden.
Good morning to everyone except the fox who pissed on my milk delivery.
At a tech conference. Remembering why I don't go to tech conferences.
Contemplating going and sitting in the car with the dog for the rest of the day - it has air conditioning and would be considerably cooler than our flat which has got stuffier and stuffier all week.
Super interested in this, but I am absolutely failing to understand how to actually implement it...

Raising a glass (of iced water) to my fellow pre 6am dog walkers. Hats off to us for our dedication to our canine overlords.
Meeting clients in London at 4:30. I am wearing cream trousers, because I am a risk taker and love danger.

What's up with people on Substack not using subheaders? Nothing makes me bounce faster than a 2000 word essay without subheaders.
🚨This is not a drill: the linden trees are in bloom! The smell is what heaven would smell like, so you should go and sniff one at your earliest convenience. And the tea you can make from the flowers and bracts has a lovely relaxing effect. (Turkish shops sell it if you don't have a linden near you.)
My dog's beige flag is that she would rather cuddle than eat. Then she gets a belly ache, and wants a cuddle 🔁

Passionflower is a revelation. I've been wired and stressed all day, but after one cup of a fairly weak infusion, I feel like this sleepy dog in a hammock.

First day travelling on the newly nationalised railway! I am genuinely excited about this. Southern Rail and Thameslink were the bane of my existence.

I need to print 3 copies of a 24-page doc. What will run out first: - Paper? - Ink? - My patience? (All are on low)
40% of pharmaceutical products are derived from plants. I learned this as part of my herbalism studies, and even though I'm fully on board the plant medicine train, it still slightly blew my mind. And makes me extra angry that all this ancestral feminine knowledge gets dismissed as woo.
