On 10 Aug Il-96PU CAMBER Airborne Command Post RA-96024 RSD711 took off from Moscow (VKO) and was headed east when tracking ceased. It was likely accompanied by Tu-214SR Communications Relay Aircraft RA-64526 RSD631 and both aircraft likely flew to Ulan-Ude (yellow dot).
According to TASS, Putin arrived in Ulan-Ude today and likely flew on RA-96024. Putin has not traveled much this year but this is his third trip since 24 Jul when he visited Irkutsk. He flew to Krasnoyarsk on 03 Aug. This could be to try and boost his failing popularity. tass.com/politics/217...

Interesting is that all three trips are out east, where living standards are likely being affected more due to sanctions and drone strikes on the Russian oil industry. Is Putin concerned that these regions could revolt or try to break away from RUS?
