When utilized in literature review, LLMs consistently 1. fail to mention female authors in female-led literatures, 2. insist that men are more influential or more heavily cited when this is contradicted by objective citation counts, and 3. attribute women’s work to hallucinated male scholars.

Me: I'm strong & independent and I'm fine by myself Also me: makes friends and social plans in London before even arriving, because what if I otherwise end up not making friends during my 1 month research stay~

It was a nice day at ENS Paris Saclay (close to home!🙊) I especially enjoyed Gaspard Fougea's approach to turning psychological theories into finite automata, that looks so interesting and useful - and lucky for me, he'll explain it in more detail the next days (so cool) see arxiv.org/abs/2501.05185

This year I've volunteered with @penneamiche.bsky.social, an initiative that connects Italian scientists and schools through letter exchanges 💌 From Sep to May, I wrote to a middle school class in Verona, sharing what it's like to be a neuroscientist and to build a research career abroad. [1/3]

If you have access to any the following stats software, would you be willing to run some chi squared tests on a handful of simulated datasets and send me results? I need to verify that that my R implementation of what other software does is correct. - Stata - SAS - StatXact - SPSS DM me :)

Couchsurfing around workshops leads me to present my posters to such a diverse crowd- finance analyst, comic artist, biomedical engineer.. Last year an architect and a hairdresser.. Italian, Indian, German.. Presenting to couchsurfing hosts should count as public outreach 🤭 @rtg2271.bsky.social

Happy to have presented a recent project at the IMT in Lucca - it was great to exchange in this interdisciplinary setting, and especially interesting to learn more about economist's perspectives on similar research questions. Thanks to everyone there!

2 high school students in the library: S1: I asked chat GPT, but it only gives bad answers lately S2: You need to switch to Claude ai. I used it to prepare my physics presentation S1: Really? How did it go? S2: Extremly bad. But I think it was my fault, not Claude's (difficult not to laugh)
