Impossible to see for decades, Frank & Eleanor Perry’s Oscar nominated film “Last Summer” (1969) has finally been restored to its original theatrical version. It’s out on Blu-ray today including extra scenes, interviews with Barbara Hershey, Richard Thomas & Bruce Davison, plus a commentary track!
Okay, this Warner Archive Blu-ray is a REALLY big deal. Frank Perry’s film LAST SUMMER has been so hard to see for so long and never got a home video release beyond VHS. Big thanks to @larrythek.bsky.social for his tireless efforts to keep this film alive!
