I did that job for years. I was often the first on the film alongside the director. There's a reason directors enjoy working with good storyboard artists: they have taste and instincts that can complement their own. At its best, it's more than just taking dictation, it's a creative partnership.

The poeticism & portrait of Americana permeate the landscapes. He made great use outta bankrupting a studio. The end leveled me. #BleakWeek
