Can we make objective awareness tests more powerful? In our new paper (doi.org/10.1093/nc/n...; Neuroscience of Consciousness), we introduce two tests (frequentist and Bayesian) that outperform commonly used tests, based on extensive simulations and reanalyses of published datasets. (1/9)

Anecdotally, it is amazing how much more productive I've been in the last 12 months! Why? Not because of AI - because I have a stable postdoc for the first time, and I'm not consuming massive amounts of time on writing job applications 😅
