I purchased a license to read a book on Kindle, & I loathed the book. It made me upset. Every time I saw it in the queue I got stressed out, because I am weird that way. Anyway, I finally figured out how to completely delete it. You have to do it through Amazon. Go to "manage content and devices".

My memory of the alleged lockdown was that a bunch of things closed because everyone got sick. I went to work every day; we arranged schedules so we didn't immediately follow each other into airstudios. I remember getting a special pass to be on the roads, which no one ever asked to see.

I personally don't like cherry limeade. My husband, however, does...and I happened to have fresh limes, Italian Amarena cherries, simple syrup, water, and ice. Boom.

What did Laura make today? Tabbouleh, bread, fresh lemonade, a quart of simple syrup, a run to the grocery, a stop at the locally-owned hardware store What else? Laundry, vacuuming, repotted rosemary & sage plants, pruned the windowboxes, dug up intrusive mulberry tree shoots

I'm sure other people are doing interesting and useful things but I am eating Pizza Shuttle and listening to Mina Mazzini and I am content with my choices

I'm old enough to remember when tabloids managed to get photos of Natalie Wood's crime scene and Elvis Presley in his coffin, you're telling me no paparazzo could wangle his way into George Washington University Hospital?

I don't even know you but when you make a dumb argument agreeing with a really stupid think piece, not only does it not make you look as smart as you think you are, you get a blockity, block block block

You are telling me the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky can't just go over to Baptist East or wherever and poke his head into Mitch McConnell's room? This whole thing is weird
