Digital Strategist, dog obsessive, working in social since before it was cool

Hate to be the one to say this but the UK really needs to get used to hot weather and adapt accordingly. This is getting ridiculous. Schools closed, trains cancelled, everything delayed... it's madness. I had to explain what was happening to an American yesterday and it didn't feel good!

'The UK government has lots of powers to govern the internet that it simply isn’t using. Hosting images of child abuse is a strict liability offence, one that Elon Musk’s X platform blatantly breached.' Why do we consistently let platforms shake their responsibilities?

"A teenage social media ban is the digital equivalent of seeing our parks full of needles, broken glass, and violent thugs – and deciding that a “KEEP OUT IF YOU’RE UNDER 18” sign stuck on the entrance is enough." www.jamesrball.com/p/a-teen-soc...

Can the Zara stylist tell me when is this outfit on the left ever appropriate? Why would you hang out with a friend getting coffee whilst on a call using wired headphones (?) with your trousers undone and your bikini showing. So relatable.

Meta’s new Facebook and Instagram “Plus” subscriptions are now live in the US, although there’s still no UK launch date. What’s interesting is that paying for Facebook still feels weird somehow - even though LinkedIn Premium has existed for years.
