Had two creative days with friends making stained glass yard art. I made a jellyfish for my son the oceanographer. The other photo is just some of the other creations made. Art with friends is highly appreciated and recommended right now.

Printing w/ my husband & awesome helper, (we make a good press team!). When using a treadle, even on a well-oiled platen press, we oldies get worn, so I appreciate him running it too. These are simple notecards on 220lb cotton paper using a transparent tint. The deboss of the flowers “chef’s kiss”.

Time for another quilt! I saw this pattern and had to make it! I did change a few things — like joins and shadows — to make it make logical sense. This was definitely a “check three times before stitching” project. Had to do some ripping anyway. Patience and stubbornness! Great optical illusion!

I have never, ever, *ever* worried about "competition" for my writing from LLMs. An LLM might theoretically create a music history podcast someone might listen to. It could never create *mine*. LLMs can create "content" but they'll never create art.

Made stained glass yard art gifts for my family & friends. Due to finances, it was a homemade holiday. The materials were from my mom’s former stained glass studio (she’s retired). Her old studio is now my design/illustration/letterpress shop. Now thinking of making it a homemade holiday every year.

This post led me to looking up more of Inge Burgerhoudt’s work. Love discovering new artists who incorporate nature into their work, especially those with a flair for the art nouveau style.
