I've been told I have a purposeful stride. Here to shout about things I like.

Went to see The End of Oak Street (🔥😍) starring Anne Hathaway. I come home and watch Anne Hathaway accept her Disney Legend award at #D23. On Saturday I will see The Odyssey in Imax for the third time, starring Anne Hathaway. There is One Actress.

Has anyone done “adjusted for inflation” calculations on Spider-man, Odyssey, etc regarding their box office “records”? Like I enjoyed both and it’s great it’s driving people to theaters but the numbers being higher than older movies when ticket prices have grown *exponentially* feels disingenuous

I’ve no emotional attachment to Practical Magic—it’s fun, it’s fine—but the recasting of the daughter to be younger instead of keeping Evan Rachel Wood legit sucks. All because the leads don’t want to accept they, too, aged? Would totally take me out of it, such a sour note. (The ads have started).

But we all know the most iconic part of The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) is -- let's say it together -- Philip Seymour Hoffman's entrance as Freddie Miles and then everything he does as Freddie Miles.

The one time I went to SDCC and got into Marvel’s Hall H panel ensures me I will never have fomo about attending that again because it was 2017 and the lineup was Black Panther/Thor Ragnarok/Infinity War. I’m good.
